June is here but scorching summer is not ready to take back. Global warming what else? But you know there are a few superfoods that help you to keep hydrated and refreshed in this hot weather too!
Hydrating food contains a high amount of water and helps you to remain hydrated.

Water – Yes, water! There is no escape from water when it comes to hydration. Adult men are composed of 60% of water in their body whereas women consist of 55% of water. A normal adult excretes around 1500 – 3000 ml water daily through urine, sweat and evaporation.
To fulfil water requirements and to remain hydrated you need to drink enough water daily.

Cucumber – When it comes to hydrated food, cucumber is always ranked higher. Cucumbers contain 96% water itself.

Watermelon – A red, yummy watermelon is not just a delicious fruit but also one of the best super hydrating foods. Watermelon contains 92% of water.

Bell Peppers – Crunchy and colourful bell peppers contain 92% of water. They are also loaded with vitamins and antioxidants.

Strawberries – Sweet and sour reddish strawberries contain 91% of water. As well as providing essential vitamins and antioxidants.

Spinach – Spinach is a green leafy vegetable that contains around 91% of water. It is also rich in iron and Vitamin C. It is also the most recommended food for anaemia.

Oranges – Oranges are loaded with Vitamin C and help you to keep the flu at bay. It also contains 88% of water and keeps you hydrated.

Pineapple – Pineapples are high in vitamin C, manganese and enzymes. Along with this, it contains 87%.

Yogurt – Yogurt is a wonderful probiotic to work on your gut health. It contains 85% of water. Along with this, it is high in probiotics, protein, vitamins and calcium.

To beat the heat along with these superfoods drink enough water, including juice, soup and coconut water.
