Aging is a mechanical phenomenon, we can’t stop it but we can slow down the procedure. 

Your skin has two major proteins – collagen and elastin. These proteins are very active during your young age, but as you grow older they start working slowly. 

As you grow your body’s antioxidant fighting capability reduces by oxygen-containing free radicals. And these free radicals attack Collagen and elastin, so your skin starts looking dull and damaged.

Foods to avoid to look young

Sugar – Food that is loaded with sugar, like donuts, pastries need to be avoided. Excessive sugar can give rise to wrinkles.

Oily Food – Deep-fried food like french fries, pakoda absorb more oil and when you consume them they can add inflammation all over the body.

It increases the level of LDL, which is bad cholesterol and increases the risk of heart diseases.

Alcohol – Moderate amount of alcohol is good for you but heavy drinking can speed up your aging process.

Moderate is one drink per day for women and two drinks per day for men. That is 5 ounces of wine and 12 ounces of beer you can consume daily.

Food that favors anti-aging process

Vegetables, fruits, nuts have anti-inflammatory properties and can fight inflammation for your good look.

Spinach – Spinach is rich in iron, which we all know, but along with that it is loaded with antioxidants, vitamin A, C, E, and K, magnesium.
